Kronoby (Fi. Kruunupyy) is a town and municipality in Ostrobothnia. Nedervetil and Terjärv are part of the municipality since 1969.

[edit]Kokkola-Pietarsaari Airport is in Kronoby. There are daily flights from Helsinki, Kemi with Finnair and more rarely from Stockholm and Copenhagen with Nextjet.
By bus
[edit]Buses connect from Vaasa, Jakobstad and Kokkola.
By car
[edit]Highway 8 passes next to the town.
By train
[edit]The western main north–south railway goes through the parish village, and there's a station building, but trains don't stop there. Get off in Bennäs (not all trains) or Kokkola instead.
By boat
[edit]The shore is accessible from the sea, through locks in Larsmo.
