    Kuortane Sports Resort

    This is a training place for top Finnish and international sporting performers. Besides, there are also a lot of activities for the whole family and athletes. People can come to have a few days of practicing some sports or experimenting new activities such as boxing, Sumba lessons, and many others and have a great time. Here guests can learn important and vital things about health, well-being, eating habits for a better daily life. Therefore, it can become more than just a leisure time for some; it can be an investment for a good lifestyle.

    The Kuortane Sport Institute is IAAF accredited training center. During summer time there are nature and exercise tracks, 15 outdoor tennis courts, climbing wall, beach volleyball, a golf course (5 km away), canoeing, kayaking, church boats, swimming beach next to the hotel. It is considered a very safe beach for kids because the water has a low level. Besides, during the winter there are other sports such as cross country skiing tracks, downhill skiing (30 km), skating, snow shoe treks and ice fishing.

    Some of the indoor facilities offered are the Kuortane Arena offering athletic areas, the Ica Arena for ice hockey and figure skating, swimming pool, the Bowling Alley, the indoor Golf Training Facility and the Sports Arena.

    There is a local beach sauna for groups of up to 40 and a barbeque place.

    The Wellbeing Center offers guided exercise courses and lectures, human performance programs, physical care services, massage and zone therapy.

    Kuortane Sports Resort offers a variety of accommodation options and price levels. All the rooms are furnished and there are four different sizes available. Some of them have their own sauna, washing machine and balconies with a wonderful view of the Kuortane Lake.

    There are four different types of restaurants. Visitors can choose according to their preference the Eppula Buffet Table, the restaurant Aalto à la Carte, the Café Tassi menu. Also, there is a bar next to the bowling area.
