[edit]Lawson is near Hazelbrook and Bullaburra on the A32 road between Springwood and Wentworth Falls.
Blue Mountains Transit[dead link] route 690K runs from Springwood to Katoomba via Lawson railway station.

[edit]Lawson is home to many bushwalking tracks ranging from easy to hard. Bushwalks include Adelina Falls, Cateract Falls and Echo Bluff. Walkers must stay on tracks and look for cliffs.
- 1 Lawson railway station, Loftus Street. A heritage-listed railway station on the Main Western line. The station opened in 1867, and the building dates from 1902.
- South Lawson Waterfall Circuit, Honour Avenue (head on the Great Western Highway toward Lawson, turn on Honour Avenue; the walk will be on the right). A 2-km walk of five waterfalls, with many native flora and fauna.

[edit]Apart from bushwalks, Lawson is home to a skate park, BMX, a 50-m Olympic swimming pool and some small nature and play parks.
