Understand
[edit]This is a small and clean (you can notice the fresh air) city amongst some quite incredible mountains in the north of Guangdong province. It's part of Qingyuan prefecture-level city.
It is home to the Yao minority peoples, and a 90 minute cultural performance can be seen at 7:30pm at the Panguwang Culture Garden for ¥40. The Lin Nan International Hotel (10 minute walk from everywhere) was ¥288 per night and looks to be more like a 5 star standard than a 4 star. Very little English is spoken. There are only a few restaurants around.
