[edit]- 1 Danxia Mountain. A beautiful scenic spot, Danxia Mountain was where Xu Xiake, a geographer and writer of the Ming Dynasty explored the mountain in the 17th century.
- 2 Duge Bridge (都格北盘江特大桥), G56 Hangzhou–Ruili Expressway. 24/7. The highest bridge in the world until 2025, towering a baffling 565 m above the Beipan River. This 1.34 km long cable-stayed bridge crosses the river on the border between the Yunnan and Guizhou provinces, and is part of G56 Hangzhou–Ruili Expressway between Qujing and Liupanshui. With a height of 269 m, the eastern tower supporting the bridge is also among the tallest in the world. The span between the towers is an impressive 720 m. It was constructed between 2011 and 2016, upon completion surpassing the Sidu River Bridge as the highest bridge and then being surpassed by the Huajiang Canyon Bridge in 2025. Free.
