Town is on intersection of the A55 truck road Chester — Holyhead, also known as the North Wales Expressway (Welsh: Gwibffordd Gogledd Cymru), and the A470 Cardiff to Glan Conwy Trunk Road 3 miles south of Llandudno.

[edit]The town is home to a 9-screen multiplex Cineworld cinema, Llandudno Junction Leisure Centre, ASDA, Tesco and Lidl supermarkets, and a McDonald's, KFC and Pizza Hut restaurant.
Llandudno Junction also has a number of beautiful walks and a fantastic bird sanctuary at RSPB Conwy.
