Longquanyi District (龙泉驿区), a district of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is in the eastern part of central Chengdu. It has a thousand-year old Buddhist temple, the Shijing Temple, the most beautiful underground palace of the King of Ming Shu, and the Hakka of the world, Luodai. Hakka" Luodai Ancient Town, "International Peach Blossom Festival" and other attractions. It's also known as the "Motor City" and the "Peach Country".
Longquanyi District used to be under the jurisdiction of the ancient state of Shu, with nearly 600 years of county history, the Ming Hongwu nine years (1376) to set up Longquan Town Inspection Division, set up a national stage, began to call "Longquanyi" and used to this day.
It is the seat of Chengdu National Economic and Technological Development Zone and the host of the 31st World University Summer Games. It has always been the gateway to Hibiscus City, the key to Sichuan and Chongqing, and is located in the important node of the twin-city economic circle of Chengdu-Chongqing area,
Since 1962, Chengdu has resumed the Spring Festival Lantern Festival, which lasts for one month. During the Lantern Festival, there are folk art, acrobatics, and juggling performances in the park; there are various local snacks; there are also people casting sugar figures and selling windmills. The number of visitors to each Lantern Festival is more than one million. Chengdu’s annual Lantern Festival is held in Qingyang Palace. This ancient Chinese folk custom is well displayed in Chengdu. The Lantern Festival is unprecedentedly grand, with various lanterns competing to display, colorful and dazzling, chandeliers, hanging lanterns, revolving lanterns, carp lanterns, lotus lanterns, wall lamps, Aoshan lanterns, large flower baskets, etc., with strong ethnic and local characteristics. Most of them use Sichuan opera repertoires, historical stories, folk legends, municipal construction, industrial achievements, etc. that are familiar to the public, reflecting Chengdu’s long history and culture and major contemporary construction achievements. Exquisitely made, it is the crystallization of the collective wisdom of the people of Chengdu, and showcases Chengdu’s superb traditional arts such as folk color-wrapping skills and calligraphy and painting.
Chengdu belongs to the subtropical humid monsoon climate zone, with abundant heat, abundant rainfall and four distinct seasons. The annual average temperature is around 15.2℃～16.6℃, the frost-free period is more than 300 days, the annual average precipitation is 873mm～1265mm, the annual average sunshine percentage is generally between 23%～30%, and the annual average total solar radiation is 80.0kcal/cm2～93.5kcal/cm2.
Longquanyi District is located in the Chengdu-Chongqing region, an important node of the Twin Cities Economic Circle, Shuangliu Airport, Tianfu Airport, two major international airports and Chengdu International Railway Port geometric center, the district boundary from the Chengdu International Railway Port, Tianfu two major international airports, adjacent to the Chengdu East Railway Station.

2、Walk 250 meters to get on the bus at Zhongjie Plaza Station, take No.880, get off at Dongjie Binhe Nanjie Station, walk 110 meters to Longquanyi District.
Metro Line
1、First, take the airport bus at Tianfu Airport to Chengdu East Bus Station.
2、Next, take Line 2 at East Bus Station to Chengdu Administrative College Station after three stops.
3、Finally, transfer to Metro Line 4 to reach Longquanyi District after four stops.
Chengdu Station, North Railway Station, and Chengdu North Station
Be aware of the three names. The station you can see today in the north of the city is officially called Chengdu Station (成都站) and that's the name printed on the ticket. However, locals usually call it the North Railway Station (火车北站) or Chengdu North Station (成都北站), and the name of the adjacent metro station is Chengdu North Station. The real and official Chengdu North rail station is a large freight yard quite distant from the city.

The Chengdu–Dujiangyan intercity railway connects Chengdu station and Chengdu's suburbans, namely Dujiangyan and Pengzhou. The service operates in a way similar to metro, and provides cheap ticket price (the highest ticket price is ¥15).
Longquanyi District is crossed by the Chengdu-Chongqing Railway and Chengdu-Chongqing High-speed Railway, while the Chengdu-Kunming Railway and its freight transportation line go around the district.Longquanyi District is about 20 kilometers from Chengdu East Railway Station and 30 kilometers from Chengdu South Railway Station.
After getting off the train at Chengdu East Railway Station, you can take the subway directly to Longquanyi, which is only 10 stops away.
Take Line 7 from Chengdu South Railway Station, 6 stops to Chengdu East Railway Station, then transfer to Line 2 for 10 stops to Longquanyi Subway Station.
