Loures is a city and municipality in Greater Lisbon, Estremadura, Portugal.

Loures (/ˈlowɾɨʃ/, LOHW-r(ih)sh) has a population of just under 215,000 per 2020 estimates.
The municipality is made up of three general areas: the urban south, the industrial east, and the rural north.
The municipality has two cities—Loures and Sacavém—and seven towns—Bobadela, Bucelas, Camarate, Moscavide, Santa Iria de Azóia, Santo António dos Cavaleiros, and São João da Talha.

Three motorways serve Loures:
- A1 (Autoestrada do Norte) is Portugal's main motorway, running from Lisbon to Porto via Coimbra.
- A8 (Autoestrada do Oeste) runs near the west coast from Lisbon to Leiria via Caldas da Rainha.
- A9 (Circular Regional Exterior de Lisboa, CREL) connects several Lisbon suburbs.

Construction on this modern church began in the 1970s, but it wasn't inaugurated until 1992. The dome is reminiscent of a royal crown, and its bell tower contains a 14-bell carillon. Sixteen mosaic panels depict the story of Salvation.
