- Eastern Marmara within it, with Gebze, İzmit, and Adapazarı its main cities.
- Southern Marmara, with Bursa its main city.
- Marmara Islands — an archipelago in the mid-west of the Sea of Marmara.
- Marmara Island — the largest of the Marmara Islands.
- Marmara Ereğlisi — a town on the north mainland coast of that sea.
Greece
