    Mims is a city in Brevard County between Oak Hill to the northeast and Titusville to the south. Mims' northern suburb, Scottsmoor, is also covered in this article.

    The main route to Mims is US-1, which travels south from New Smyrna Beach directly through Edgewater and Oak Hill to Mims. It continues south to Titusville. I-95 parallels this route roughly a mile to a few miles west of US-1. FL-46 enters Mims from the west.

    • 1 Scottsmoor Flatwoods Sanctuary East, 6000 Magoon Ave (trails start at Parrish Park), +1 321 255-4466, . A wildlife preserve between US-1 and I-95 north of Mims (near Scottsmoor) with about 10 mi (16 km) of trails. These trails are accessible via Parrish Park, where there are restrooms and a parking lot. The park features the pine flatwood ecosystem native to Florida and contains a variety of wildlife including sandhill cranes and birds of prey. Wild pigs also inhabit the park. Some trails may be flooded after heavy rain.
      Scottsmoor Flatwoods Sanctuary West can be accessed from the southern fork of the East Central Regional Rail Trail.
