Monroeville is a city in the Gulf Coast region of Alabama.
Understand
[edit]Monroeville bears the moniker of "The Literary Capital of Alabama" because, rather incongruously, it was the childhood home of both Harper Lee of To Kill a Mockingbird fame and Truman Capote. In fact, they were even childhood friends.
