    The Moore Haven Downtown Historic District includes the Lone Cypress, and the Moore Haven Residential Historic District contains a number of simple old homes that survived or were built after the Great Miami Hurricane of 1926 and the 1928 Hurricane.

    Lone Cypress Tree and park
    • 2 Gatorama, 10665 N US-27 (Palmdale), +1 863 675-0623. One of Florida's oldest roadside attractions. Gatorama is basically an alligator farm with a visitor center. The gator zoo exhibits alligator and crocodile species and a few other animals. Visitors are treated with a short gator wrestling show, can hold an alligator and will be shown feeding the animals. Personnel will ask any question regarding alligator breeding with in-depth knowledge.
