[edit]As the name reveals, the park comprises Mount Hamiguitan and the surrounding region. The highest mountain, Hamiguitan, is 1,620 m (5,310 ft) above the sea level.
Flora and fauna
[edit]Flora-wise, the highlights of the sanctuary are its unique pygmy forest and its wealth of carnivorous plants (nepenthes). The wildlife sanctuary is a habitat for the critically endangered Philippine eagle.
