Mt. Lebanon is an affluent suburb in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, about seven miles south of Downtown Pittsburgh. Uptown Mt. Lebanon, a business district along Washington Road in the northern part of the township, is one of the more prominent business districts in the area outside of Pittsburgh itself.

[edit]By car, the quickest way from Downtown Pittsburgh is to take the Liberty Tunnel and Liberty Avenue south until it becomes Washington Road (U.S. Route 19) upon entering Mt. Lebanon.
The “PRT”, or Pittsburgh Regional Transit, provides public transit access from Pittsburgh to Mt. Lebanon - including the trolley or "T" as locals refer to it-!light rail service. The RED LINE rail will take you from Downtown through the small suburbs of Dormont and Brookline to Mt. Lebanon station, which will put you directly in Uptown Mt. Lebanon. The RED LINE stops at Castle Shannon, a suburb located due east of Mt. Lebanon and continues south to serve South Hills Village, a mall just beyond the southern end of Mt. Lebanon.

[edit]- 1 Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, 509 Washington Road (just north of the Mt. Lebanon "T" Station). A huge cemetery (almost 25,000 people are buried here) with a very park-like atmosphere. The cemetery dates to the 1880s, and there are a lot of interesting gravestones to look at.
- St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church, 311 Washington Road, ☏ +1 412 561-3300. A huge catholic church - be sure to step inside and look up at the intricately decorated ceiling and the beautiful stained glass windows.
