Nagykáta is a district in Pest County. It includes the towns of:

Szentmártonkáta is accessible by car on the on Hwy 31. By rail there is the Budapest-Újszász-Szolnok railway line. Long distance buses link the town with Budapest (50 km) and Jászberény (20 km).

Tápióbicske: From Monor take Hwy 4, from Nagykáta or Tápiószecső take Hwy31. The nearest railway station is in Nagykáta.

Tápiógyörgye is a half-hour drive away from Szolnok. Between Tápioszele and Újszász turn north from main road 311.

• Prónay-Dessewffy-Polgár Mansion (Prónay-Dessewffy-Polgár Kastély) (along the road #31), ☏ +36 29 462101. A landlord possession architectural monument. The single-storey neo-classical mansion today is home to the offices. It can only be visited from the outside. 
• Reformed Church (Református Templom), Rákóczi út 1, ☏ +36 29 462101. 18th-19th century, built in the late Baroque architectural style. 1822-23 was extended with a tower. Dual pillar pairs and three arched openings decorated the front chor part.

• Gicei Hill Nature Protected Area (Gicei-hegy), [email protected]. Rare plants and animals are found on this area. Here can be seen regularly otter and osprey. Old oaks located on the lakeshore. Further is a beautiful meadow with a lot of White narrow- and broad-leaved sedges. The greatest value of the area is the Upper Tapio creek with excellent water quality and remarkably rich fish stocks. 

• European Bee-eater Bird Colony (Gyurgyalag kolónia), Tápióbicske, Outskirt, Ádánd, Felsőhegy hill northern slope, ☏ +36 29 382028. in a Nature Protected Area Free. 

• Stone Cross in Churchyard (Templomkert Kőkeresztje), Martinovics u. 1, ☏ +36 53 383001. Monument made in Renaissance style. 
• Village museum (Falumúzeum), Béke út 2, ☏ +36 53 383060. mid Mar-Sep. A local history and ethnographical collection. Free. 
• Saint Anna Roman Catholic Church (Római katolikus Szent Anna templom), Szent Háromság tér 1, ☏ +36 30 4524950, [email protected]. It was built in 1860. 

• Bibic Trail (Bibic-tanösvény), Outskirt, toward Újszász along Tápió river area., ☏ +36 53 383001. in a Nature Protected Area, include look-out tower, educational path, presentation house, forest school Free.
