[edit]Nasushiobara is on the JR Tohoku Shinkansen line about an hour north of Tokyo. You can make the same journey by local trains in three and a half hours, though it might require a transfer in Utsunomiya.

[edit]- 1 Mori no VoiVoi (森のVoiVoi), ☏ +81 287-74-3194. M W-F 10:00-17:00, Sa Su 08:00-17:00. This pancake house serves western-style pancakes. It also serves waffles and hard-to-find smoked bacon. The building is a sort of imitation log cabin — beams are used instead of logs — which creates a friendly atmosphere. ¥ 900-1,500.
