[edit]The local airport UHNN (UHNN), accepts aircraft up to the second class inclusive, helicopters of all types. The operator of the airport is Khabarovsk Airlines. 8 flights a week from Khabarovsk, and there are flights from Ayan, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Nelkan, Okhotsk, Herpuchi, Chumikan.
By bus
[edit]Khabarovsk - De-Kastri - Nikolaevsk-on-Amur (to Podgorny). Daily. Travel time is about 20 hours.
By car
[edit]Highway 08A-10 Selikhino - Nikolaevsk-on-Amur. It starts from the right turn of the 08A-1 Khabarovsk - Komsomolsk-on-Amur highway at 339 km. The length of the road is about 597 km, the surface is mainly unpaved. The road is passable all year round for all types of transport (excluding specific bad weather and natural disasters).
The city is on the left bank of the Amur, there is no bridge across the river, so to enter the city (or exit), you will have to use a river ferry plying through the Amur (Podgornoye village).
By ship
[edit]In the summer, from May 25 to October 1, the Meteor hydrofoil operates along the route: Komsomolsk-on-Amur - Nikolaevsk-on-Amur.
