The North Atlantic Coast of Morocco is one of the busiest areas in the country and home to the capital city.

- 1 Rabat - the capital of Morocco; very relaxed and hassle-free, highlights include a 12th-century tower and minaret
- 2 Kenitra - is one of the three main cities of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region and a port on the Sebou River.
- 3 Mehdya - is on Sebou River (Oued Sebu) and was known as São João da Mamora under 16th century Portuguese occupation. Fishing center on the estuary of the Sebou River. It is known for its historic Kasbah de Mehdia, a historic fortress with Roman origins.
- 4 Mohammedia - is a port city on the west coast of Morocco between Casablanca and Rabat. It hosts the most important oil refinery of Morocco, Samir Refinery, which makes it the center of the Moroccan petroleum industry.
- 5 Temara - is a coastal city directly south of Rabat has beaches and a small pleasure port.
- 6 Casablanca - this modern city by the sea is a starting point for visitors flying into the country. If you have the time, both the historical medina and the contemporary mosque (the second largest in the world) are well worth an afternoon
- 7 Azemmour - Azemmour's beach is a place for surfing and kitesurfing. A historic lighthouse called Sidi Boubeker is located 8 km (5.0 mi) north of Azemmour.
- 8 El Jadida - the former Portuguese colony of Mazagan. A UNESCO World Heritage site
- 9 Larache - main harbour of the former Spanish protectorate and charming seaside town
- 10 Moulay Bousselham - a small seaside town get its name from a Sufi saint Moulay Bousselham, originally from Egypt, who's shrine is a popular pilgrimage sight. This fishing village has developed into a seaside resort.
- 11 Salé - city on the banks of the Bou Regreg river, located opposite its neighbouring capital Rabat.
