North Telangana consists of the districts of Adilabad, Asifabad, Jagtial, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Kumaram Bheem Nirmal, Mancherial, Nizamabad and Peddapalli.

- 3 Dharmapuri — a town with a number of temples including Narasimha Swamy, Venkateshwara Swamy and Vigneshwara Swamy
- 4 Karimnagar — a fast developing district with many famous monuments and temples
- 5 Mancherial (Garmilla) — commercial hub and agricultural market
- 6 Nirmal — well known for its wooden toys and paintings and the Nirmal Fort
- 7 Nizamabad — home to the famous Temple of Lord Shiva (Kanteshwar around 1400 BC)

[edit]- 1 Kaulas Fort (Kowlas Fort). A historic fort constructed by the Rashtrakutas in the 9th century. It later came under the rule of Chalukyas of Badami, the Kakatiyas, Musunuri Nayaks, the Bahmani Sultanate, Qutub Shahis, Mughals, Marathas and the Nizams. It has historically served as a strategic outpost contested by many kingdoms.
