Feeding an elephant at Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand
  • Go to the beach – the coast is dotted with beach towns for swimming and other seaside activities.
  • Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand, west of Cha-am. No elephant rides or circus tricks here—this wildlife rescue centre allows visitors to see a wide array of wild animals and interact with elephants in an ethical way. The animals at the park are rescued from the pet trade or the entertainment industry, or from being injured in the wild or by people, and many are released after being rehabilitated. The park has more than 900 animals from over 70 species; you're sure to see lots of elephants and several species of monkeys, and likely also bears, peacocks, boars, cassowaries, slow lorises, orangutans, tigers, and otters.

This region travel guide to Northern Gulf Coast is an outline and may need more content. It has a template, but there is not enough information present. If there are Cities and Other destinations listed, they may not all be at usable status or there may not be a valid regional structure and a "Get in" section describing all of the typical ways to get here. Please plunge forward and help it grow!
