Northern Karnataka is a region in Karnataka consisting of the districts of Ballari, Bidar, Kalaburgi, Koppal, Raichur, Yadgir and Vijayanagara. It is home to the stunning religious and archeological site of Hampi, capital of the Vijayanagara Empire. One part of Hyderabad State, Northern Karnataka is full of other-worldly geology and nature.
