    Understand

    [edit]

Like much of Chicagoland, the Northwestern Suburbs originated from the population boom following World War II. With the influx of new residents, easy access to Chicago and boom around O'Hare International Airport, the area grew quickly and has some of the largest communities in the suburbs. Visitors will quickly note that many of these suburbs contain a mixture of 1950s style homes and modern mansions, sometimes alongside one another.

    Get in

    [edit]

With its close proximity to O'Hare International Airport, much of the Northwestern Suburban area is accessible via both I-90 and I-94. Other major routes include US 20 and IL 53.

This region travel guide to Northwest Suburbs is an outline and may need more content. It has a template, but there is not enough information present. If there are Cities and Other destinations listed, they may not all be at usable status or there may not be a valid regional structure and a "Get in" section describing all of the typical ways to get here.
