Nové Město na Moravě is a town in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands of the Czech Republic. It has 10,464 inhabitants. Near Nové Město na Moravě, there is a test facility of EGU Brno. Although it may be not possible to visit this installation, you should have a closer look on it as to this facility a transmission tower belongs, which looks like a construction of Gyro Gearloose and is therefore nicknamed "Gyro Gearloose Tower".

[edit]You might be in trouble with communication around Nové Město. Most of the people there (with many exceptions) speak only Czech, maybe a little bit Russian. But younger people (25 and younger) mostly speak very good English.
Get in
[edit]You can get there by train. You can take a fast (R) train and transfer in Žďár nad Sázavou. The ride from Prague takes 3 hours, from Brno it lasts about 1¾ hours. From Brno, there is also a local trains connection, with transfer in Tišnov; then the ride takes 2 hours.
