    Nundle is a village (population 496 in 2016) in the New England region of New South Wales in Australia.

    Nundle was founded in 1852 when gold was discovered at the nearby Hanging Rock diggings. Nundle has several notable historical buildings, and one can prospect for gold, minerals, and gemstones in the surrounding district. The nearby Hanging Rock Lookout offers impressive views over the Peel River valley.

    Nundle is 59 km (48 min) south-east of Tamworth via New England Highway (A15)/Oxley Highway (B56) south-eastbound, turn right onto Nundle Rd (Tourist Drive 23), at the roundabout near St Michael's Church turn right and continue on Nundle Road, continue through Woolomin, pass Chaffey Dam on the right, at the intersection with River Road turn right and continue on Nundle Road, and continue ahead into Nundle.

    Nundle is 60 km (42 min) north-east of Willow Tree via New England Highway (A15) northbound, pass the Kamilaroi Highway (B51) turn-off on the left, through Wallabadah, turn right/east onto Lindsays Gap Road, turn right/south onto Nundle Road, and continue ahead into Nundle.

    Nundle is 56.5 km (41 min) east of Quirindi via Henry Street/Dewhurst Street/Wallabadah Road, at Wallabadah turn left/north onto the New England Highway (A15), turn right/east onto Lindsays Gap Road, turn right/south onto Nundle Road, and continue ahead into Nundle.

    Private transport is essential, as there is no taxi service nor is there a local bus service in Nundle.

    The nearest car rental agencies are in Tamworth and Quirindi.

Awesome views of the Peel River valley. Picnic area nearby.

A fun day of novelty dog races, high jumps, doggy derby, best dressed dog, culminating in the Great Nundle Dog Race. An annual fundraiser for the local school. Food and refreshments available.

This festival celebrates the history of Nundle's golf fields and the Chinese and European miners that helped Nundle to develop from the 1850s. Chinese dance performances, live music, try your hand at panning for gold, browse the market stalls. Activities for children as well.
