This small town has a peaceful suburban quality that is conveniently located near the Garden State Parkway, New Jersey Turnpike, Route 3, Route 21 and even New York City. The town residents pride themselves on their small prospering town and take quite an action to everyday bettering their living environment.

This is a small town where most people travel by car, bike, or foot. It measures to 3.4 square miles, a distance that is easy to get around. There are also buses that travel daily. They can take you around Nutley, to surrounding towns, and even to New York City.

Nutley Museum - A historic museum that holds artifacts from the famous Annie Oakley and other interesting novelties of Nutley.

Franklin Avenue is the main and most popular street. This is where a majority of the shopping and eateries and The Nutley High School and the John Walker Middle School are located. On a warm summer night, Nutley residents enjoy a nice walk down Franklin Avenue to catch up with the town and take in some fresh air.

The Nutley High School has an amazing award winning performing arts group. Multiple times a year the concert choir will perform for the town. They have also been invited and sang in the famous Carnegie Hall, New York City over 9 times. Along with they choral groups, once a year the High School will put on award winning productions. These plays are brilliant and entertaining and definitely a must see.

Brookdale Park - This park is located right outside of Nutley in Montclair. They hold many outdoor concerts during the summer for patrons to enjoy. They also hold the very popular Fourth of July Fire Works display.

Grover Cleveland Birthplace - President Grover Cleveland was born in neighboring town Caldwell, New Jersey. This is definitely a fun and historic place to visit.

For a fun night time thrill, visitors can go to "Weird New Jersey" places in Nutley and surrounding towns. There are many books you can read about these unexplained interesting sites that are located in new Jersey. Quite a few of them happen to be located in Nutley and its surrounding towns. Just a quick drive and you will be there!

One site of weird NJ is the Old Canal Inn on Passaic Avenue - This is said to have the mysterious death chair. Anyone who sits in it will die from a heart attack.

Nutley has multiple bars and lounges to enjoy a small bite to eat and some drinks. A few of the most popular places to drink are the Franklin Steak House and Jim Dandy's The Mud Hole. Both places are located on the main street, Franklin Avenue. During the day these places are family welcome restaurants where parents bring their children for an enjoyable dinner. At night, the people of age come out to liven up Nutley.

Since Nutley is such a small town, it does not offer any hotels or motels for visitors. Most tourists stay with family or friends. However, the surrounding towns offer very nice hotels with great accommodations.
