    Okemah is a town in the Frontier Country region of Oklahoma and the birthplace of "This Land Is Your Land" renowned singer Woody Guthrie.

    • 1 Woody Guthrie's Childhood Home (SW corner of W Birch St and, S 1st St). The home is gone, but there is a tree trunk-like memorial commemorating the site. Also try the Woody Guthrie mural and statue on Broadway about a block east of the Okfuskee County Historical Museum.
    • 2 Okfuskee County Historical Museum, 407 W Broadway St, +1 918 623-2440. M-F 9AM-4PM. This is a 1926 Masonic temple. It now contains the history of the county and an early days schoolroom display.
