Ola (Russian:ола, O-la) is a city of 6,000 people (2021) in Magadan Oblast at the mouth of the Ola River, on the coast of the Tauiskaya Bay of the Sea of Okhotsk.

At the shore is a rock formation known as the three monks, together with a plaque commemorating the location of the first landing by geologists in 1928. Magadan was founded 3 years later.
The Olsky Museum is in the building of the House of Pioneers. It has more than 5,000 exhibits of the main and scientific auxiliary fund.
