    • 2 Bharatpur Stupa. An archaeological site with a large stupa. The stupa was built during the Pala period. The stupa was built by bricks and stones in the Pancharatha style, with a base area of 13 m2 (140 ft²). Unfortunately, only the base of the stupa is survived by the test of time. Eleven Buddha statues seated on Vajrasana in Bhumiparsha Mudras – all five fingers of the right hand extended to touch the ground – were discovered in this ruined stupa.
