Pedernales is a city and province in Southern Dominican Republic.

[edit | edit source]Pedernales is a small, sleepy town on the very south-western extreme of the country, nearly bordering Haiti. It is where most people base themselves if intending to visit the magnificent Bahia de las Aguilas. It is easily walkable, and has a nice local beach.
