    Perdekop (literally Horse Hill) is a village of 5,000 people (2011) on top of a 1,889 m peak in Mpumalanga.

    • A huge Dutch Reformed Church (NGK) church, which used to hold 600 parishioners at its best times.
    • Roodedraai Museum – a private museum with one of South Africa's largest collections of Anglo-Boer War memorabilia. It is an old school building reconstructed into a historic village, with a general store, school house, post office and restaurant. It has a letter written by Sir Winston Churchill, and thousands of artifacts dating back to before the Anglo-Boer War

    Before visiting Perdekop you can look at the option of arranging a visit (before hand) to a nearby horse riding facilities for a day of riding.

    You can visit Majuba Hill as well as Perdekop which played a major role in keeping the Boer's horses alive and safe from sickness.
