    Putnam District or "Historic Downtown" is home to many arts events and businesses. Aligning Main Street, which runs through the center of Downtown, there are seven arts-related businesses in just one block of the town.

    • 1 Cady-Copp House, 115 Liberty Highway. An historic home added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.     • 2 Putnam Town Hall, 126 Church Street. An historic building added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.     • 3 Putnam Railroad Station, 35 and 45-47 Main Street. An historic train station added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.
