[edit]The park covers an area of 142 km², and its landscape is dominated by fells, old coniferous forests, aapa bogs and rocky outcrops.
Pyhä-Luosto National Park has several walking trails of varying lengths and difficulty levels, some of which start in the village of Pyhä and some in the village of Luosto. In addition, the park has mountain biking trails, and in winter also cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails. The fell villages of Pyhä and Luosto are connected by the 30-km-long Pyhä-Luosto hiking trail.
The Naava Nature Centre is located in the Pyhä fell village, and features a nature-themed exhibition, a lunch restaurant, a shop and conference facilities. The park has several wilderness huts, lean-tos, campfire sites and dry toilets.
