  • 23.5194486.680831 Joychandi Pahar (জয়চণ্ডী পাহাড় Jaẏcaṇḍī Pāhāṛ). A hill that became popular for being the location of Satyajit Ray's various films, including Gupi Gayen Bagha Bayen and Hirak Rajar Deshe. There's a Chandi temple and a semaphore tower atop the hill. The hilltop provides an aerial view of the townscape, and also a MEMU train along the Adra-Asansol line. The hill is also home to various butterfly and plant species.
