[edit]- 1 Warung Oziel, Jl. W. R. Supratman. This place is famous for its fried rice. Aside from fried rice, Warung Oziel also sells lontong satay with peanut sauce, boiled noodles, gado-gado, nasi soto and even miso. Start from Rp10,000.
- 2 Warung Wak Sikat, Jl. Beringin. Despite its lousy appearance, the food that served here is great. This place sells various menu such us miso, pecel, lontong pecal, gado-gado, fried spiced banana, clam satay, jengkol satay, quail egg satay, etc.
- 3 Tutty-Frutty, Jl. Imam Bonjol. Rujak, miso and satay are quite famous here. Although there are many other types of snacks can be found here, this place has been around for quite a long time. Probably one of the pioneers of one stop culinary place in this town.
- 4 Kedai Mie Aceh Seulanga, Jl. Lintas Sumatra No.102a, Kartini, Kec. Rantau Utara, Kab. Labuhanbatu. This place is famous for its Aceh noodles. Although there are many other types of food served, most of them are typical Acehnese food like Acehnese fried rice, roti cane with curry sauce or sprinkled with granulated sugar and milk. The recommended beverage are black coffee and milk coffee.

[edit]In Rantauprapat, there are lots of coffee shops and stalls. Maybe because the town is relatively small, thus, many of its residents like to hang out while drinking coffee. So, it is not surprising that you will find endless rows of coffee shops and stalls.
- 1 Kedai Kopi Akur, Jl. Ahmad Yani. This coffee shop is quite famous in the city. Aside from its delicious milk coffee and black coffee, this shop is also famous for its bread toast with sarikaya jam.
- 2 Kedai Kopi Labong, Jl. Meranti. There are various types of coffee that served here, mostly come from Sumatra. Don't forget to try the sanger milk coffee, its will reminds you of the aroma and taste of Vietnamese coffee.
- 3 Kedai Kopi On Mada, Jl. Ahmad Yani. This shop is also quite famous here. Thre are many local officials hanging out here. Not only them, youngsters, farmers, and becak drivers also like to hang out and casually chat about anything and everything. When it comes to the taste of the coffee, it's not much different from other coffee shops, even though it still tastes great with toast and sarikaya jam. They also serve tea if that's on your cup instead.
- 4 Kafe Kok Tong, Jl. Kartini. The place is quite cozy. The location is also not too noisy because there are less of vehicle traffic that are passing by. You can order various types of coffee here. In addition to coffee, you can also enjoy other types of drinks such as tea and juices. They also served full meal foods to fill your hungry stomach. Or just enjoy some snack like bread and cakes that can be combined alongside a glass of your favorite coffee.
