Roßdorf is a village in Hesse, one of the states of the Federal Republic of Germany.

[edit]Roßdorf has about 13,000 inhabitants. It's 9 km south of Darmstadt and 44 km south of Frankfurt, at the foot of the Roßberg, an extinct volcano, and marks the northern gateway to the Odenwald mountains. It is well known for its long tradition of fruit growing and viticulture.
