Rocky Gap is a big state park in Allegany County, Western Maryland. It is one of Western Maryland's most popular destinations for its outdoor activities, resort, and golf course.

[edit]The most popular activities are fishing and boating on Lake Habeeb (non-motorized boats are available for rental), and the golf course. Hiking is another possibility, with plenty of short trails, one four-mile, and one five-mile hike.

The State Park Service operates a lodge, and private two-bedroom chalet overlooking the lake, with a minimum two-night stay in low season and minimum seven night stay in high season. $175/night.
