By car
[edit]The Warrego Highway heads west from Brisbane through the Lockyer Valley, up the range to Toowoomba, through the rich pastoral lands of the Darling Downs onwards to Roma. From Roma your journey can continue west to Charleville, north to Emerald and Mackay or south into New South Wales.
By train
[edit]Queensland Rail runs its Westlander service between Brisbane and Charleville two times a week. 1 Roma railway station is located at 41 Station St.

The owners are quite nice and tend to be fairly accommodating if you're checking in late. Plenty of parking is provided, though some of the parking slots aren't well-maintained but manageable if you're only staying for a short amount of time.

South on the Carnovan Highway following the Balonne River through Surat, St George and on into New South Wales.
