Finnhamn is one of the Stockholm Archipelago’s most visited islands. Despite being located far out in the outer reaches of the archipelago, it is easy to reach by ferry and 1 Finnhamn ferry stop, making it a popular stop for travelers. Many also sail here in their own boats, taking advantage of the island’s popular natural harbors. If you walk the Stockholm Archipelago Trail you can also connect to section Ingmarsö taking 2 the rowboat from Ingmarsö (see map and select "hiking") see SAT Ingmarsö
Walking Trail Through Finnhamn
[edit]A scenic walking trail winds through the island, passing all major locations, making it easy to explore on foot. The path connects:

- 8 Finnhamn guest harbor
- Swimming areas at 9 Ragnas kiosk, 10 Idholmens bathing area and 11 Finnhamn bathing area
- More wind shelters were you can stay over night. It is not possible to book the wind shelter; it is first come, first served12 Lammudden wind shelter, 13 Talludden wind shelter, 14 Lilla jolpan wind shelter
- More barbecue areas at some of the windshields but also 15 The boys' point grill area, 16 Idholmen bbq, 17 Ragnar's kiosk bbq, 18 Sydfladen bbq
- A 19 café and a restaurant with a rooftop bar offering spectacular views
- 20 Outdoor gym
- 21 Idholmen Farm, where visitors can see cows, chickens, and other animals, and visit the farm shop for organic vegetables and locally produced goods.
