The Saiq Airport does not host regular flights. The nearest airport with regular flights is Muscat International Airport.

At the 22.9607957.6778611 Jabel Akdhar Police Check Point only 4WD and SUV cars are allowed to pass. It's recommended to drive carefully and use a low gear, as the road is steep. There are some locals who offer you the 30 km ride uphill to Saiq for a fee.

Coming from Muscat you can take bus line 53 or 54 to the town Birkat Al Mouz. There you need to rent a 4WD car or ask a local to give you a ride, for example at the police checkpoint.
