    The province of Sante Fe is one of the most populous provinces in Argentina. The country is flat everywhere, there are no larger elevations in the entire province.

    The climate is temperate, the summers are warm, with 23-27 °C and the winters are mild, around 9-15 °C. Precipitation is between 800 mm a year in the southwest and 1200 mm a year in the northeast, with it being much more rainy in summer than in winter.

    Uranga-Sylvestre Begnis is a subfluvial tunnel (previously, Hernandarias) under the Paraná River between Santa Fe capital and Paraná the capital of the province of Entre Ríos.

    The Ruinas de Cayastá is the old settlement of the city of Santa Fe), 40 km northeast of the capital.

    The National Monument to the Flag is in the city of Rosario.

    Campo de la Gloria in the city of San Lorenzo, 25 km north of Rosario is where the Battle of San Lorenzo took place in 1813.

    El Cristal Lagoon is a tourist complex 25 km from the city of Calchaquí with a wide space for camping, sighting of native flora and fauna, museum, and with a great archaeological wealth due to the indigenous settlements in that area in the past.
