Get in
[edit | edit source]The airport TAB IATA is at Crown Point, just 10 km west of the Scarborough centre. Ferries (with a car service) although irregular will enter here.
A bus from the airport to Scarborough will cost you TT$3 but tickets must be bought in advance. Alternatively a local taxi should cost you less than TT$20. The hire taxis can be more expensive (TT$90).
Get around
[edit | edit source]Taxis
[edit | edit source]The easiest way to get a taxi is by the Doubles at Castries Street/north side road but these will cost you a lot more than the local taxis near KFC. Make sure you pick the taxi stand marked with the direction you want to head (e.g. west/north).
A local taxi to Black Rock will cost around TT$10 but expect TT$100 or more at Castries street.

Do
[edit | edit source]Corbin local wildlife, Near Mason Hall. Roy Corbin is helping educate people so that many of Tobago's endangered wildlife such as armadillos, ocelot, snakes and caimans do not get eaten by the locals. There is some great birdwatching to be done here and tours (by appointment only) are affordable (US$25) and educational!

[edit | edit source]There are far fewer options here in comparison to Crown Point. Most places do not stay open late so options are a little limited and opening hours are unreliable. Do not rely on Google maps - many places listed no longer exist or have changed opening hours.
Cow heel and pig tail soups are very easy to find around here. Chinese restaurants open quite late.
