An overnight train from Tehran departs every second day. 32.05223348.8296031 Shushtar railway station (ایستگاه راه آهن شوشتر) is located west of the city centre.

Shushtar can be combined with Shush and Chogha Zanbil as a daytrip by taxi from Ahvaz.
