    Siddipet is in East Telangana in Southern India. The city is renowned for its ancient religious attractions such as temples, mosques, churches and irrigation projects. There are historic monuments like Lal Kaman and Burj. It is a regional urban hub and educational centre.

    The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation runs buses from major destinations to Siddipet. It is very well connected by bus to Hyderabad, the closest big city, with a high frequency of various quality services.

    Siddipet is well connected to nearby villages. It is also connected by State Highway 16 (SH-16) from Suryapet city. National Highway 365B (NH 365B) connects Siddipet with different district headquarters in the state: Suryapet–Jangaon–Siddipet–Siricilla.

    Siddipet is connected by train to Hyderabad , Secunderabad, and Karimnagar via the Manoharabad–Kothapalli line.
