Siddipet is in East Telangana in Southern India. The city is renowned for its ancient religious attractions such as temples, mosques, churches and irrigation projects. There are historic monuments like Lal Kaman and Burj. It is a regional urban hub and educational centre.

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation runs buses from major destinations to Siddipet. It is very well connected by bus to Hyderabad, the closest big city, with a high frequency of various quality services.
Siddipet is well connected to nearby villages. It is also connected by State Highway 16 (SH-16) from Suryapet city. National Highway 365B (NH 365B) connects Siddipet with different district headquarters in the state: Suryapet–Jangaon–Siddipet–Siricilla.
Siddipet is connected by train to Hyderabad , Secunderabad, and Karimnagar via the Manoharabad–Kothapalli line.

The Komati Cheruvu lake is located centrally within Siddipet town and is easily accessible on foot or by local auto-rickshaws. The walking and cycling tracks around the lake offer convenient access to all major attractions.

[edit]- 1 Komati Cheruvu. A man-made lake and recreational area with a tricolour suspension bridge. Once a basic irrigation reservoir, it has been transformed by urban beautification projects into one of the most popular tourist attractions in the region. The 241-m suspension bridge is one of the main landmarks. Built by Padma Shri awardee Girish Bharadwaj, it offers panoramic views of the lake and connects the bund and park areas. A night-time garden featuring illuminated sculptures and decorative lighting is best visited after sunset.The Musical Fountain host occasional light-and-sound shows in the evenings, especially during festivals. The bund area and seating zones offer excellent sunset views over the water.
- 2 Ranganayak Sagar. The reservoir is surrounded by earthen embankments and features a road along the banks, allowing local travel and scenic views for visitors.
