Slutsk (also Sluck) is a city in Minsk Oblast, Belarus. Ornamental silk sashes woven in Slutsk were once famous throughout the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, and today the town has a museum dedicated to them.

[edit]Slutsk has a 1 railway station, but a bus or a car will get you there faster. Trains from Mogilev and Salihorsk stop at Slutsk.

[edit]- Football: the town team SFC Slutsk play soccer in the Premier League, the top tier in Belarus; the playing season is April-Nov. Their City Stadium (capacity 1900) is southwest of the centre.
- FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk[dead link] also play in the Premier League. Their home ground Stroitel Stadium (capacity 4200) is in the city of Soligorsk (or Salihorsk, Салігорск) 20 km south of Slutsk.
