Soave is a small medieval town near located in between Verona and Vicenza. The town is totally surrounded by the walls which slope down from its majestic Castle, a typical medieval military edifice erected in the High Middle Ages, probably on the former site of a Roman fort. The town is also famous for the typical dry white wine – Soave – which is produced in the romantic hills surrounding the Medieval walls. A dedicated festival is organised in May in order to celebrate the virtues of this very popular wine.

[edit]Soave is 20 km east of Verona and can easily be reached through the A4 Milan-Venice highway (Soave is 20 km east from Verona, it is easily reachable taking the A4 highway (Soave-San Bonifacio exit).
