Sonarpur (সোনারপুর Sonārpur) is a suburb southeast of Kolkata, in the South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. It also covers areas like Narendrapur, Rajpur and Subhasgram.

- 1 Ancestral house of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Subhasgram (suburban: Subhasgram Sealdah South ). Janakinath Bose, father of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, used to live in Cuttack most of the time and come to this house during Puja times. The area where the house is located was originally known as "Kodalia" before being later renamed to "Subhasgram" to honour the freedom fighter. Although the Bose family later moved to Bhowanipore further north, Durga Puja still brings the family together at Subhasgram.
