
South Penghu Marine National Park (Chinese: 澎湖南方四島國家公園) is a marine park in the Penghu islands of Taiwan.

[edit]The South Penghu Marine National Park, literally translated as Penghu South Four Islands Park , consists of four main islands: Dongjiyu, Xijiyu, Dongyupingyu, and Xiyupingyu. In addition, there are several smaller islets: Toujin, Tiezhen, Zhongzai, Zhumujiao, Erwen, Xianglu, Chutoujiao, Chai'anwen, Liwenzai.

Get in
[edit]If you are in Jiangjun, you can depart from 1 Jiang Jyun Fishing Port (將軍漁港). to Dongjiyu. Journey takes about one hour.
If you are already in Magong, you can go from2 Magong Nanhai Harbor (馬公南海碼頭). to Wangan, and then continue from 3 Wangan fishing harbor (望安潭門港). to Xiyupingyu, Dongyupingyu and Dongjiyu.
Xijiyu has no pier, so you can only admire it from the sea.

[edit]- 1 Dongjiyu Lighthouse (Dongji Island Lighthouse). A lighthouse with a height of 24.4 meters, built in 1911 by the Japanese during the times of the Japanese colonial empire.
- 2 Blue Cave. An impressive sea cave off the coast of Wangan, created by erosion. However, entry to the caves are strictly regulated and is only permitted by an authorized tour operator – see the marine park website for details.
