    Ste. Genevieve is a small city (population approx. 4,500) in south east Missouri, in the United States of America. Located on the west bank of the Mississippi River, it was founded in 1735. The first European settlement west of the river, it has the oldest brick building, still intact, west of the river today (The Old Brick restaurant). It's of French and German heritage. Part of the town is federally protected as Ste. Geneviève National Historical Park.

    From the north (one-hour drive from St. Louis) or the south take I-55, exit #150, then approx. 5 miles east on highway 32.
