[edit]- From Solo: It takes about 1.5 hours by private vehicle towards Sragen, then continue to Sumberlawang.
- From Yogyakarta: It takes about 3 hours via the Klaten-Solo-Sragen route.
- From Semarang: It takes about 3 hours via the Purwodadi-Sragen route.
By bus
[edit]From Solo's Tirtonadi Bus Station, take a bus to Purwodadi or Sragen, then take any local transportation to Sumberlawang.

Respect
[edit]There are two annual events that attract large numbers of pilgrims: Thursday Night Friday Pon and the cleaning of the veil around the tomb of Prince Samudro on the eve of 1 Suro. During these events, entertainment venues such as karaoke places and bars are temporarily closed so pilgrims can focus on the rituals.
