[edit]Sunlight is a smaller ski area catering to the value-ski traveler. It only has three lifts and limited lodging available at the resort... but, its lift tickets are priced right and it offers dozens and dozens of different runs. There is easily ski trees and extreme slopes for an entire week and not ski the same line twice. There is a diversity of terrain that features everything from cruising corduroy to heart stopping steeps all at family-friendly prices.
- Beginners Cruising : Sunlight is home to one of the longest trails. Ute, a cruising beginning slope, winds more than two-and-one-half miles from the summit to the base.
- Steep and deep is also available : Sunlight Mountain's Extreme challenges skiers and boarders. With a pitch of 52 percent, the Heathen is one of the steepest trails in the state.
- Cross Country Action : Sunlight also has a groomed cross country trail off the west side of the parking lot which also can be used for a number of snowshoe loops.
